How much CBD do I take?

We recommend that you speak with your physician to find the right dose of CBD for you. Although your provider may not be an expert in CBD, your doctor can tell you if hemp is a good choice for you or not based on your health history and medications.

Our products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.  All of our products contain less than .3% delta-nine THC.

The USDA has not approved CBD for use yet and therefore does not offer dosing recommendations. Any supplement or medication carries a potential risk of reaction; we recommend you try a small dose first to observe your reaction.

Everyone is different with unique needs. There is not a set dose of CBD for everybody and how much CBD is available in the bloodstream varies by ingestion method.

We encourage you to explore various strains and ingestion methods in the right setting for you.

A common dose of CBD is 15 – 30 mg per dose. Many people use less or more than this. Factors like weight, pain level, quality of product and ingestion method all determine the efficacy. General industry standards suggest you try:

Low Strength: (0.1 mg/lb) 1 mg every 10 lbs
Medium Strength: (0.3 mg/lb) 3 mg every 10 lbs
High Strength: (0.6 mg/lb) 6 mg every 10 lbs

To find what’s best for you, we recommend you start with half your desired dosage and wait 2-3 hours to notice results. Follow all instructions on the packaging. Consistent use leads to more bioavailable CBD in the body.
